The appointments for K1 are only on Wednesdays and it appears that every Wednesday for the month were made available... so the only hope for September is someone cancelling their own...

Good luck !

I’m not even going to hold my breath for October, I still need to get my P4... November it is... Yay for Christmas time tying the knot lol

Soo I'm trying to book my appointment for my medical...if my interview is on September 25th then would a August 27th medical be too soon (considering there's a 10 business day timeframe to process the medical)? I live only 30 minutes from the doctor, so getting there wouldn't be in an issue. I'm just concerned about the validity of the medical.

I tried to search this but I cannot seem to find a definitive answer. It seems the consensus that the medical is valid for 6 months so I can't see an issue if it's a month old. Not sure where the information comes that it has to be super close to the interview, but I can only guess because it cuts time off the POE portion of the visa considering it's validity is dated from the medical and not the interview. Someone can please correct me if I'm wrong, it's hard to find up to date information about this.

Hi Everyone,

I am filling out my DS160,  is am I94 considered a visa? Do you put anything in the question regarding "have you ever been issued a visa? The I94 number is "invalid" when you put it in if you say yes. confused

I put no for this question since we’re not issued a visa number when we cross on a B2 visa.

Sorry, another silly question. After you submit the DS160, can you still visit your fiance while you wait for your interview etc...?

Yup! Just bring same evidence of ties to home as usual. The only time you can't visit is once you have the visa (i.e. if you wanted to make just a trip down, not your full immigration)

They opened up the last week of July and all booked up within hours. By the time I got on there was only 1 day left.

Yeah @KenandBina - we were checking 1-3 times a day at that point for maybe a week or two.  Then on the day they opened, I checked early in the morning, no appointments and then later in the evening same thing.  I signed back on here and saw they were open that day but they were gone by the time I saw them.  Now we check almost every hour if not more.

Hi! May I ask, when they open interviews for you guys how many days available did you see? It’s so strange! Even us spouses have been waiting for interview dates. A lot are waiting since April and they never gave schedules for almost 3 months now. I wld think because they are accomodating other visa categories but I see in here that even K1 applicants are having a hard time getting interview dates. We started 14mos ago and we still have no interview letter at all. 😔
