I will go and pick it up myself to make sure it is all on time.
And I made an appointment with Medisys and they assigned me to doctor Ilana Galperin. They were super nice on the phone and knew right away what I was asking for and gave me a detialed list by email of the paperwork needed.

Oh man, you guys are lucky! The clinic in Toronto with Dr Lyndon Mascarenhas needs at least 10 business days for report turnaround.

Hey so we got packet 4 (woohoo) and it’s time to schedule the interview. Of course there are no dates at the moment. Just curious if anyone knows their process. Are we waiting on cancellations? I’ve been told that more dates won’t open until last week of Aug and will be for October.

Just trying to figure out how they do things.

Yes keep checking for cancellations. :) otherwise last week of aug the oct appts will open up.

I feel you... Did mine once I knew the NVC had our file. Was too scared that things would take longer than they already were..

You sent your documents in August ? How come it is only being ready now ?
I sent mine on February 6th 2019.. I feel like things are almost fast for us..

They sent us an rfe March 6, which we answered quickly and then it took them until May to approve and send to the NVC, then it took the NVC until the end of June to send it and now one month exactly (yesterday) we are still waiting for the embassy to send us the P3! I’m going to lose my mind soon.

I haven't had my appointment yet, but on their website they only ask for one passport picture - http://www.visadoctor.ca/en/us-medical

Lol the doctor in Montreal requests FIVE passport style photos. Here is part of the instruction email they sent after I booked it.

For the 5 passport photos do you guys go to a passport picture place to get them done? Or is there another alternative to get them?

On Dr. Cheema's website (https://www.drgulzarcheema.com/index-3.html)  it says:

"PLEASE NOTE: THE MEDICAL REPORT WILL BE AVAIABLE FOR PICK UP IN THREE BUSINESS DAYS BETWEEN 4-5PM AFTER YOUR MEDICAL EXAM as the lab takes two business days to process the lab results.

We could also arrange for a courier service on an applicant’s request on exam day. An applicable courier fee will be charged."

It might be at the discretion of the doctor you have your appointment with, I'm not sure!

I just had my medical with Dr. Cheema on July 24th for my Interview August 7th. When I was there they gave me the option, they said I could pick it up 2 business days after between 4 and 5 or they could mail it to me and that would be an extra charge and would take approx one week. The medical is available for pick up from 9am-2pm on Saturdays as well @QueenieBonds

I went to Staples and got 8 print outs of the same picture, 2 for the interview and 6 for the medical (since they can't print just 5). It was $60 but super quick and easy.

Hey, I think regardless they charge the $13 or $14 per 2 pics that they print so it wouldn't make a difference. That's what I understood anyways.

Thank you. I wonder if they can just copy the pics i have now which is also done with them so all the pics will look the same and I just pay the copies again.

Hey,

Does anyone know what number to call for address changes once your case is in Montreal?

Tries the NVC already and no reply.
