How far away do you need to schedule your doctors appointment to your interview? Does anyone suggest a time frame as to how close or far away I should book my doctors appointment?

Hey, I did the same but I’m planning to bring it just in case. My fear is that I won’t bring something and they’ll ask for it then it won’t be approved. I made a folder with extra things that I don’t think they will ask for as well as a folder of things that I know they will to kind of separate everything and make it easier/faster to arrange my documents.

That is a really good idea. Thanks!

My interview is on September 11th and I booked my appointment in Surrey for August 26th. I think it takes 3 business days for them to get your results and then you can either pick them up or have them sent to your house. I would say give it at least a week and a half if you're having it mailed, just in case.

I think it says in P3 or P4 to allow at least 4 days between the medical and appointment. I'd ask the clinic when you're booking. I'm doing mine in Montreal and they said to allow a week based on how long it usually takes at their office. So my medical is Sept 4 and interview Sept 11. Also it costs $470 CAD...!!!

Hey I live in Montreal so it is easier for me.. I scheduled my interview on the 11th for the appointment on the 18th.
I would say try to do it at least a week before the appointment just to be sure.

Finally received my packet 3 this morning after sending in an inquiry a week ago. 😄 Going to try and get this sent today or tomorrow ASAP so I am one step closer to hopefully getting a September interview (because our NOA2 expires then as well lol)

I was under the impression that you had to pick them up in person. Did the doctor tell you they would mail them?I was under the impression that you had to pick them up in person. Did the doctor tell you they would mail them?

On Dr. Cheema's website (https://www.drgulzarcheema.com/index-3.html)  it says:

"PLEASE NOTE: THE MEDICAL REPORT WILL BE AVAIABLE FOR PICK UP IN THREE BUSINESS DAYS BETWEEN 4-5PM AFTER YOUR MEDICAL EXAM as the lab takes two business days to process the lab results.

We could also arrange for a courier service on an applicant’s request on exam day. An applicable courier fee will be charged."

It might be at the discretion of the doctor you have your appointment with, I'm not sure!

Thanks! After your exam in Montreal do you pick up your results from the doctor or they mail it to you?? .. I’m thinking about doing my exam out in Montreal instead of Vancouver and staying a good week out there. Also which doctor did you choose?

I scheduled my medical in Montreal and as soon as I told the fellow on the phone it was a medical for a visa interview, he  knew immediately what was required for time and booked me in just 3 business days ahead of the interview date saying that was all that was needed. So I'm trusting that my results will be ready!

I will go and pick it up myself to make sure it is all on time.
And I made an appointment with Medisys and they assigned me to doctor Ilana Galperin. They were super nice on the phone and knew right away what I was asking for and gave me a detialed list by email of the paperwork needed.

Hey so we got packet 4 (woohoo) and it’s time to schedule the interview. Of course there are no dates at the moment. Just curious if anyone knows their process. Are we waiting on cancellations? I’ve been told that more dates won’t open until last week of Aug and will be for October.

Just trying to figure out how they do things.
