Ah, oh, that sounds similar to Russia then. Here in the Pacific Northwest we basically don't have mosquitos at all (summer is too hot and dry), but lots of spiders...ew.

We shall see. We will be moving from ATL field office to Kansas City, MO field office as we move this summer. So at least that should be a positive move when looking at field offices. ATL field office is SO behind with everything!

Hopefully we will still be living in the San Bernardino area when I file for citizenship. AoS took me less than 4 months (applied early December 2018, had GC in hand in March 2019).

 

But then again, many things can change in 3 years so who knows what this list is going to look like by then...

Well... My field office is terrible. Is this based on AOS, ROC, or a combination of the two?

Houston being at the bottom also has one of the upper numbers of completions. We had no issues with the AOS phase and pretty quick. Think this could clearly involve other unknown factors that cause some of the delays.

our bio's done in Atlanta # 81 but people here are getting interviews in Nashville or Memphis # 79 so who knows how long this will take

says the 2 are 20 to 22 months / will let you all know when we hear anything

 

and Atlanta just called for a man who applied in August 2018 so that is only 8-9 months (not sure of actual day he applied)

Having been born and lived in Ohio you do not want to live there. I spent the first 30 years of my life there and will never move back. I don't care if the FO where I am takes 2-3 years, I'm good with that. And if it does take more than 2 years, I get to skip ROC as we will get a 10 year green card because of being married 2 years before card is issued.

Interestingly, Finland has a large number of Somalis who have immigrated to there - so it is not just Minnesota....  Then again, there are a lot of similarities between Minnesota and the Nordics...

Denmark too. Lutheran Social Services would be some of the cause in the upper Midwest. I'm not sure if a similar organization operates in Finno-Scandinavia. 

 

Our case just took under 15 months from filing to interview out of MSP. Maybe 17+ months to oath.  It is just Minneslooooooowta for you.

 

It'll sometimes take 20 minutes to check out of the local market with one person in front of you. 😂

There is a critical worker shortage in the whole upper Midwest at the moment, which is one of the reasons they've given in the past for MSP being slow.
