Hello again, guys!
I was reading this topic in this exactly comment in link and it's said that on Rio de Janeiro's Consulate interview most people without their American fiancees in the interview were denied. My American fiance works and she cannot come in the day we have the interview (June 18th) so I'm going by myself. Should we worry?

I will say it will be surely adding some help to your case. However, if your case is bona fide, no red flag, and well supported by facetime evidences, you should not be worry.

Plus you do not have other option anyway, just be confident, answer the questions honestly.

If you read the post, it said people were not denied but asked to give more info/ documents. That’s what happened with them as well.

If you have provided enough proof, have a real relationship, no red flags, etc, you should be fine.

And at this point, knowing that the usc won’t able to take time off anyway, why worry about something you can’t change?

All of this. The OP is paying far too much attention to a single post in the Brazilian thread that made an erroneous connection between "fiancee being present" and "visa being approved". Not how it works, as pointed out by multiple applicants that have gone through the Rio Consulate (fairly recently, by the way!).

If in doubt, OP, trust the rule and not the exception. Review your documents, always tell the truth when asked, and you will be fine.
