Case status as is in the title. Does this mean I’m nearing AP and Issued?

Crikey Brandon, even I managed to find the answer for that and I’m rubbish as searching on here! 😂😂

You're nearly there, get the celebratory beers ready 🍻

Was just writing again, yours is Application Received - hold on, I saw another thread about that, let me find it 🙃

all the ones I could see were from people who were given 221g's :(

From what I’ve read, when it goes from immigrant to non-immigrant, it means things are moving along and you’re nearly at issued. I wouldn’t worry about it - I imagine it’ll start at ‘application received’ and then moves to AP fairly soon 🙃

That was my thought too - just wanted to get some clarification as I've not heard of this status before! Hopefully by Wednesday things make more sense

After our interview in Colombia where the officer stated he cant say yes or no at the interview, and he will make his decision that day or tomorrow. our status went from:

"Ready" one week

"Admin Processing 2 days"

Then "issue"

This is after 26 months with a K1 and I-601 waiver. My finance finally arrived this past Saturday. She arrived with her K1 Visa and sealed package from embassy. However, they kept her in secondary processing when she arrived, making statements "this is not all the documents"  However, she did have the required documents! After letting her sit in a room for 5 hours no communication  they gave her the passport and let her out.

Goes to show you that you can have an approved K1 and I-601 waiver from USCIS and the embassy! However, the point of entry still has the last word! I am thankful we are finally together. This has been very challenging mentally, physically and financially!! Good luck

to everyone!

Hahaha! I was 99% certain it would’ve updated within 24 hours..I imagine that everyone’s goes to application received before AP, but most people probably don’t see it cause it doesn’t remain there very long...I’m guessing yours stayed in application received for a bit longer than usual...maybe the person processing it started, then went for a cheeky half day holiday...

Congratulations! 🎉🎉
