Me and jessica's Case status on the CEAC website finally says ready as of today ! ... So what are the next steps ??? .. i have finished applying and printing the DS160, but i want to know from someone who finished it perhaps whats the list of steps to do as of today ??... and i also wonder what is packet 3 ?? is it something that we need ???

Depending on where your consulate is it will be different. It might help to know that.

 

Also on packet three they will ask you to most likely send the affidavit of support, photographs, DS160, police records etc etc

The consulate is in Cairo Egypt :) who will send the packet 3 me ?? And where would i send it to

The petitioner will receive instructions from the NVC with all of the info

Yep,

For K1, the visa petition phase is where the petitioner sends in the petition and is vetted. During the visa interview phase the beneficiary sends in the application, is vetted, culminating more paperwork submission, and the interview.

 

That is a bit of a simplistic overview of the K1 journey. Of course, the devil is in the details, and nuances of the individual interviewing embassies/consulates.
