Me and jessica's Case status on the CEAC website finally says ready as of today ! ... So what are the next steps :D ??? .. i have finished applying and printing the DS160, but i want to know from someone who finished it perhaps whats the list of steps to do as of today ??... and i also wonder what is packet 3 ?? is it something that we need ???

For K1, the visa petition phase is where the petitioner sends in the petition and is vetted. During the visa interview phase the beneficiary sends in the application, is vetted, culminating more paperwork submission, and the interview.

 

That is a bit of a simplistic overview of the K1 journey. Of course, the devil is in the details, and nuances of the individual interviewing embassies/consulates.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
