Hello,  is there any other possible way to move past the I-130 alien relatives petition?  Coz i heard to someone that they gonna try to move past they petition tho they haven't filed petition yet.?

  • If you mean to bypass/avoid I-130, then I do not think there is a way
  • If you mean to move it move fast, then there are expedite requests you can make with valid reason(s).

USCIS may consider an expedite request if it meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner’s or applicant’s failure to:
    1. File the benefit request or the expedite request in a reasonable time frame, or
    2. Respond to any requests for additional evidence in a reasonably timely manner;
  • Urgent humanitarian reasons;
  • Compelling U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for the Department of Defense or DHS, or other public safety or national security interests); or
  • Clear USCIS error.

What does that mean?   The I-130 is the first (mandatory) step in establishing the existence of the family relationship.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

If there was an obvious way (short of DCF), everyone would be choosing that path

YMMV

Even expedites of the I-130 can take months.  I really doubt if they can be through the whole process in 3 to 5 months.  The I-130 is a 12 to 14 month process so I know it can be done quicker but 3 to 5 months is really pushing it.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I assumed they are petitioning parents, not a spouse.  It wouldn't be the first (or last) time that I could be wrong.

Didn't even go there.   A spousal is still a relative though

Spouse,  they just got married Feb 2018 .

Well, at least they will receive a 10 year green card since it unlikely the foreign spouse will enter the US prior to Feb 2020.....

Exactly..  Or if her husband is military,

Being in the military, in itself, does not expedite a case.
