Proof of Relationship Question

My SO and I have met a total of three times. We've spent 189 days together, in person.

He flew from Belgium to the United States last year (2018) and stayed with me from Feb. 1st to Feb. 28th. I flew from the United States to Belgium later that year and stayed with him from Sep. 29th to Oct. 31st. I have the boarding passes from these two visits.

But then I went and visited him again, from Dec. 27th to Mar. 26th (2019).  He purchased my ticket this time around, so I never received any of the usual emails; he simply forwarded the confirmation email and the ticket receipt to me. When it was time to fly home, the lines were so long that I missed my return flight and had to book another. They issued me a new boarding pass and I threw the old one away.

So really, all I have to prove my last visit is the ticket receipt, which is in Dutch. It isn't going to match very neatly with the two boarding passes from the previous visits that I was going to use as proof. My two questions:

Will the ticket receipt be sufficient proof? If not, what else can I do?
And, if so, I'm going to have to somehow translate it, right? What would my options be for translating an attachment?

EDIT : My passport stamps are probably another option ...

Passport stamps and boarding passes are the best evidence.  There is no "proof of relationship".....it is simply proof of having met once in two years to file the petition.  You do not need to provide evidence for all of the visits.

We didn't show a single boarding pass during our entire process from uscis to consulate we just had pages of passport stamps and we were good.

My wife is from Belgium :D I'd only visited her once before we applied for the K1 so I submitted the boarding pass, passport stamp, photos of us together, copies of letters/cards shared between us, as well as screenshots of our conversations/texts. We had thousands of messages so I just took a screenshot of a random set of messages (about 1 per week) and ended up having 3-4 pages. Fast forward 2 1/2 years and she's here in the US with her greencard. We had no problems acquiring the visa with just one visit before we applied. You should be absolutely fine :) As for the translation, he can translate the ticket if you don't speak Dutch. He'd just have to type up and sign that the translation he provided was true and accurate (though I don't think you have to worry about translating this document at this stage. Some of the documents I submitted were in French and no translation was asked for).

Thank you all for your replies, they're all very helpful :) I probably seem a little bit unhinged but that's because I am, it's been a long day of putting together paperwork, revisiting bittersweet memories and agonizing over what to include, et cetera.

@sunshinelove, your positive experience gives me hope ❤️ Thank you for your help.

Of course! :) If you need any specific questions answered, feel free to send me a message. I know how stressful it is and how much of a relief it is to get advice from those who've dealt with the same countries :)

Hey There !

I'm also from Belgium, our NOA1 was jan 30 and we received our NOA2 Apr 18 ! our case is currently at NVC with a case number and is about to leave for the embassy !

For our petition we included pictures of us, us with my family, the passport stamps, eurostar tickets because we went together in London... stamps + pictures is enough don't worry.

:)

Kind regards,

Marie
