Hello everyone. I have been seeing a sweet lady in Columbia South America since 2017. We have been taking this very slowly. I am in no rush. She has 2 children. I wanted to ask your advice upfront on what to do as far as preparing for my future lady. I have read a few posts here and it looks like filling out your own paperwork is recommended. I have been keeping receipts of my trips so I should have enough of that. We take plenty of phots together. I believe she really wants me to marry her there in her country and I am ok with that. The only problem with that is since no Visa is guaranteed then and if it was denied I would be married and not be able to be with her. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. I see many people have gone through the process or in the process so I thank you in advance.

If the relationship is genuine the odds of approval are in your favor

This 'problem' is or was true for everyone who has ever done a marriage/fiance visa.  You need to come up with a plan B, and for many, that is to be prepared to move to the partner's country.

Immigration is not fast, cheap, or easy.

the only way to be denied is if you can not prove bonified relationship.... if you have a solid relationship, you have pictures, records of conversations, plane tikets, and proof of marriage then there is nothing to worry about... you have to also prove that you are able to financially suport her when she gets here... if relationship is 100% real you are good to go!!! it takes love, patience and hope.... you will do great!!!

This is not true.

what other reasons are there? beside not being able to proof legit relatioship?

if your relationship is 100% legit, sponsor meets finanacial standard for approval, he has proof of traveling to visit spouce, tons of picture, conversations, an proof of marriage...what would be the reason for denial?

so i have been lied all this time, when i kept asking about RFE, age gap, income verification... everyone kept telling me not to worry, that as long as i can prove that my relatioship is real then everything will be ok....

so even if i prove that my relationship is 100% real i can be denied? i am getting worried here...

Thanks for the information. I love this woman so I would marry her there and I guess if I had to move there I would. She has good intentions and I believe she would always fight for love which is important. She has never married but I am divorced. No history or crime. She is a nurse also, so I hope there is no disease of any kind.

I work on 100% commission so it is different every year but the last couple have been around $200k. I have asked her about the father of the children and she said there should be no problems but I guess that could change also anytime. He really isn't involved with them but I guess she still needs the permission. I also wanted to ask that one time about 5 years ago I was engaged to a Philippine women and I did start the process but she ended up not being in it for the right reasons so I cancelled the visa about 3 months into it.
