Hi everyone,

I'd really appreciate it if I can get help

My interview is on Tuesday 21st may 2019,I would be attending my sister's wedding she has a k1 visa

I would be attending the interview with my dad

What else do I need to have as document for my interview?

Since we are applying for a b1/ b2 already having my flight booked does it increase my chance of getting my visa approved? Since I have stated my date of arrival on my ds-160 form

What's the appropriate way to dress?

Thanks

It doesn't.

Also booking flights before having visa in hand is NOT advised.  Hopefully your flight is refundable.

I'd say smart casual.

As for documents - check your Embassy's website and see which documents they require.

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview.

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.

I pray you get your visa in hand my dear , but you did took a great risk for booking a flight ticket before getting your visa in hand which wasn't advisable at all especially in a country where it as been placed red flag , Nigeria , Ghana and the rest in Africa.

However , just dress moderate and pray with good faith that God Almighty help you in all this frustration to get this visa for your sister's wedding.

Good luck and wishes you all the best.

  • You can bring some docs like employment verification letter, docs to show ownership of business/properties, etc.  They may not be asked/you may not a chance to show them to your interviewer but just in case.
  • No.  Some countries require tourist visa applicants to have a round ticket for their applications, US is not one of these.
  • Somewhat formal dressing.
