Hello,

mail is expensive coming from Ecuador and I'd rather my fiance only have to mail me something once. What documents do I need him to send me?

I'm thinking so far:

passport photo

signed letter of intent to marry

What else?

If I understand correctly you don't really need wet signiture on the Intent to Marry anymore. Just have him to sign it, scan it and send it to you via email. Passport picture - I took mine here in Czech, have them to put digital copy on my flash drive, send him via email the digital copy and he had it print it in US (I think Wallgreen) so you do not have to mail that either.

We did the same thing back in 2013 with my now wife’s intent letter with no issues.  She also sent me a passport photo electronically and I printed them out.  No issues.

Good Luck!
