As some of you read I had issues with the ROM requirements. They wanted the marriage certificate that had the number of marriages which literally doesn't exist in my state. I ended up sending my wife's cenomar and a notarized form declaring no previous marriages and it got approved. So, if anyone mails in their ROM to the San Francisco Philippine embassy and encounters the same problem that's what I did. Now I just have to wait 6 months and request the "official" version.

Is it just if you mail your ROM?  I’m asking because I recently did my ROM and we went to the SF Philippine consulate and just showed them our marriage certificate and ours doesn’t have number of marriages but they never ask us anything regarding that. I do have a cenomar with me but they also didn’t ask about it.

Did you send off your packet and it was returned because it didn't have that "report" or  ...  ?

No, but it's under the requirements. It says you need the certificate listing number of marriages. It got approved, so I guess that's all that matters. Maybe it depends on the person who sees it? I didn't want to have to keep resending it and paying for shipping multiple times.

It's supposed to be a requirement, but who knows. If yours got approved that's great! So did mine, so I'm happy. It's annoying when there's inconsistencies.
