If everything that your saying is true, dont tell her your plans, as she can tell lies like saying you threaten her or beat her! If you cant pay for divorce go to a legal aid office near you and talk with a divorce lawyer, also you should try recording her threats about deporting you and take it to the police station to have a document take out on her, i dont remember if its called q10 but they will tell you.

Also start looking an apartment and try moving one day when they are not home. This way you wont get into an argument with them.

1 get a lawyer

2 move out before she get divorce paper

3 let the law knows about it as quickly as possible

I am a woman and i saw alot of women married to men in this country and only collect their pay check.

I have a friend came here and his wife did the same, he worked and pay up all her debts pay off her mortgage and she have her whole family living with her, mother, sisters, brother and only he worked for years till he got tired, file for divorce and ran away from Maryland to Florida till divorce complete.

I have another friend who his wife didnt want him to sent money to his mother, and when he decided he prefer goes home than turn his back on his mother, on his way to the airport to go back to Jamaica his wife hired a hit man and killed him, with the intention to collect a large insurance but luckily he was telling his brother everything, so the brother get the law involved and now the wife in prison.

So am saying all that to say this! You have to leave quietly and smart, these people are no joke!

Hes just trying to make sure hes got that greencard in the bag by not hurting himself if he divorces before hightailing it outta there.

That makes no sense... He's ALREADY a USC.

It soes not make sense, you are right, I am telling you what he is trying to do as he is clearly not informed and doesnt know that he clearly is okay since he is already a USC. I clearly said that he is just gauging whether leaving now will be no problem.
