- You must establish your residency and it must be established for certain period of time. You need to check this requirement.

- Complicated divorce requires a (good) divorce lawyer. I tried to do a divorce paperwork before, even there was no contest and it was not easy :).

- You are USC. Only US Government can revoke your USC but they must have a valid reason and prove that you lied to get your USC. The chance of deportation is like 0.000001% (I make this up but the point is do not worry).

Edited: You may consider to place some “.” and “,”. Very hard to follow your story.

You go down to local legal services or courthouse and file divorce. How many times are you going to ask this same question?!?!? Is this a new account you made?

You dont have any immigration issues. Just Google divorce rules in your state.

1.  You are a US citizen.  You will not be deported.

2.  Find a divorce attorney to help you protect your resources.

That is all.

Your wife is trying to scare you for nothing; don't fall for it. You are a USC and divorcing won't have any effect on your citizenship or immigration. You are a US citizen so you can't be deported to the US; since you are already here :)

Look for a divorce lawyer and do what you have to do to be happy. Goodluck.

I think he may consider divorcing from a different state - he will need to live there for some period of time before you can file a divorce from the new state.

  • As I said earlier, you need to establish your residency at the new state (meaning you may have to live there 6+ months, this can vary by states). Your wife may file it before you can.  Whoever files the divorce first, the laws from from the person's state will apply.
    • You can go to courthouse or google for the requirements from that state. However, if your wife contests, it may be much more complicated than just filing a paperwork and waiting until your turn. It involves many correspondences which cannot simply answer without using proper way - the way that only lawyer knows.
  • You can divorce here as your marriage was already recognized by US Government.
  • You can go out as many years as you like. USC is always allowed entry to US.

How can i file divorced from another states if i moved from here to another states ?  - Yes. But as others have said there 'could' be a requirement for you to be a resident of the state for some months.

we married in our home country can i divorced her in my home country or here ? - You can divorce there or here. Either ways it's a valid divorce if legally done.

Can us citizens go out of country for a year ? and come back would be any problem ? - you can go out of the country forever and not come back if you like; you'll still remain a US citizen.

Thank you all so much god bless everyone

1) You need to be a resident of a state to file for divorce in that state.  Look up the state laws.  This is not an immigration issue.

2) here or there.  You'd need to know the divorce laws for your country if you want to divorce from there.

3) of course.  You are a US citizen.  You can stay outside of the USA for as long as you want and come back whenever you want. This the only immigration related question you've asked.

Find a divorce lawyer.  You do not have an immigration problem.
