Embassy appointment scheduled but I am confused on where we pay the $265 K-1 visa fee?

My fiance and I FINALLY received word that his interview is scheduled for May 28, 2019. I had been emailing the embassy DAILY for at least a month, and they sent me a response on May 15th that his interview was scheduled for MAY 28TH!! By the grace of god, we are going to be able to pull off the medical exam and translate the documents, but I am so confused as to how to pay the fee. Some say you pay the fee on the day of the interview, some say you have to pay ahead of time, but paying at a bank requires printing of the deposit slip from the US Travel Docs site. There is no location from that site to actually print a slip for a K-1 visa for Morocco. Does anyone know the correct way? This is crucial. Thank you in advance.

Also, any tips from anyone that has recently gone through the interview process, as in within the last few months?

Once you get a case number, you can fill out the DS 160 online. Print the confirmation page for this once completed.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things,  at NVC, In Transit, or Ready. Once your case shows "Ready" then you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but some have heard back the same day that they sent the email.

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. Usually your fiancé gets the police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once you have them, then dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..).

Thank you for that information, but I already have all this. My question is about paying the $265 fee.

When you go to this site, http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ma/ma-niv-paymentinfo.asp and log in, there is no place to actually pay the K-1 fee. There is every other type of visa EXCEPT the K-1. His appointment letter states this: image.thumb.png.c2ae49ff5bfc0af0b0f218f2ab7ddebc.png

My interpretation of that letter is that they want the beneficiary to bring $265 in USA cash to the interview.

The email we got from the Myanmar embassy was similarly unclear. I gave my fiancee $265 cash, and $265 US Post Office money order, and the embassy wanted the cash.

Thank you Mike. I am thinking the same thing. I am going to make sure he's got the cash with him. I would think that if they wanted you to pay ahead of time, then the website would allow you to pay the K-1 fee. I am thinking that you cannot, because you cannot schedule your own appointment, only the Embassy schedules the K-1 visa appointments.

The information (link) that i gave you sends you to a Morocco referenced website that goes step by step in how you pay the visa fee. I believe at this time I can be if no further help. Good luck and i hope you don't stumble.
