1.Good Morning Friends, I am a US Citizen and I sponsored for my wife who lives in India. The case was complete on may 13, 2019 with priority date may 2018.  I want to know if you guys have any predictions on where her interview  can be. It will be in

2. My second question is NVC wrote FNU front of my wife's name. Her passport does mention her first and last name on the given name. My wife left the surname blank. FNU meaning first name unknown. I want to know it is going to be a big issue when she comes to USA... Like getting her driver's license and stuff.  I called NVC about this issue and they say to send a new passport but that will even delay the case more... How can this issue be solved. Thanks friends.

This is a common issue with Indians...for some reason Indian government don’t put last name as surname on passport For example

Many Singh ...Singh been last name and many being given name.. the way they put it is surname ———-.....given name Many Singh...

Don’t stress what is on the passport ...that’s how they do there business...

there in US it will always be Singh as surname and Many as given name...

i hope this explains better to you...

my Kids have same thing on there passport surname blank ...given name there name and Singh and Kaur at the end...but I filled Kaur and Singh as surname on DS-260...

In my case , i had lot of problems because of FNU. It is better to correct it right now.  My social security wont match because of this FNU headache.
