Hello everyone! So I had my medical exam on May 17 (Friday) and obviously I will go back on Monday, 8:30 am as per the schedule. But I work for the government and my bosses aren’t allowing me to be on leave on Monday because of work related stuff. I will only be able to to go back on friday again May 24 (I work monday to Thursday only)

So my question is, has anyone been in the same situation and if so, what was the complications?

I know I should be prioritizing this and I do but I’m being caught up atm.

Thank you in advance!

Have you tried to contact the medical facility to re-arrange/discussed about situation.

To be honest, I am not familiar with Philippines but a simple phone call may probably clear any doubt in many cases.

Hi! Thank you for answering.

They are close during weekends. They provided numbers to call but also said that calling should be within office hours.

I already talked to my bosses and they let me take my leave on Monday. So this is all well now hehe.

Thank you again!

Its good they allowed you to be off because the medical at SLEC is a two day process, I don't think they would have allowed you that much if any of a break between days. Hope all goes well on Monday!

Well I just got off the phone with one of my boss and she change her mind. I literally don’t know what I’m going to do now.

Well you are going  to have to weigh your priorities if SLEC  won't accommodate you. Job is important yes, I don't see what difference  a day makes.  Wishing you well.

Yeah I’m actually thinking of calling them first thing on Monday and see if I’ll be given the Friday schedule. If not, I’d have to face the wrath of my bosses because I’ll choose SLEC.

Hi Hank! Thanks for your reply. I’ve decided to just take the wrath of my bosses lol so I’m going to go to SLEC on Monday. Also I’m not marrying my job so gotta get the medical done 🤣
