My method, which served me well, was read ahead and see all the screw ups other people did and know not to make the same mistakes they did when I got there. And along the way you learn all the common frets people have and are calm knowing it's normal.

So what's next for you?  Torn envelope? How long will status say AP?  How to send things over? Or the big one you could start instead of checking status so much...read the AOS forums and learn why people got RFEs and don't do whatever they did when you prepare your packet.

This is too much to process, I have done a lot of reading, but I don't remember a lot of it. Issue is with a lot of this, it's all down to "luck". There's no correct way, of course there are things you can avoid, but people have had issues regardless!

I'm just sorta down at also how anticlimactic the interview was.. "oh it all looks good I'll mark this for approval. take care" *WHY AREN'T YOU JUMPING FOR JOY WITH ME?!*

How did we meet?

What happened between meeting and now?

What does my fiancee do for work?

Is she a student?

Where does she live?

Where do we plan on living?

What's my plan for moving?

Have I changed my name?

Is Michigan cold?

Thanks man!

Ha!

I got approved for a tourist visa a couple of years ago (I visited for 6 months, so couldn’t stay on an ESTA) - and when the interviewer told me I was approved, I gave an excited high pitched squeak, to which he laughed and told me to say hello to Phoenix for him 😂😂.

I definitely follow the @Wuozopo method of reading everything I can find in here that in any way relates to the K1 visa or anything leading up to it, so I’m hopefully prepped and ready for whatever comes...but like you, find it a lot to process, so breaking it down in stages in terms of what I focus to read up on  (I also created a little timeline for myself - step by step, get birth certificate that month, ACRO that month, have MMR jab that month, etc, so I don’t miss anything...it’s also helped the time pass, because I constantly have something to ‘look forward to’...well, maybe not look forward to, no one likes injections at the doctors, but feel like I’m ticking off my list and getting one step closer to being permanently reunited with my fiancé).

My plan is to have my interview in the second week of September, so will then have around nine weeks before I hopefully leave on 19th November (if the visa is granted, of course)...so will be spending those nine weeks intensively studying the AOS guides and forum section - but not focussing too much on it yet, lest my head explodes!

Yeah I defo feel like I do as @Wuozopo has stated and read lots, and feel like I have a pretty good idea of the process and don't really need to ask a whole lot of questions, as for the most part they have already all been answered, rrpeatedly,  the only issue then is I feel I spend more time just lurking and not engaging in any conversation 😅

Well start a conversation thread for just gabbing about whatever. The weather, nerves, homesick yet, pets, jobs, Etc.
