Hi all,

so had my interview today and was told I was approved and wait a week for visa.

my question is that the NVC tracker still says Ready, I’m assuming that won’t update until the Monday when it hits AP?

secondly, the interview booking website says “Current Status - Appointment”.

can someone tell me I’m silly and being paranoid and I didn’t leave the embassy before I was supposed to?

You’ve only just had your interview lol you should know by now how long it takes the system to catch up. Mine took about a week I think, don’t stress about it

Status might flip back and forth abit. You'll end up in AP at least for a brief period, 2-3 days probably, so don't panic. Or could be longer, no one knows but after AP probably will go back to "Ready" then "Issued".

Thank you - this was along my thoughts.

My main issue was if I left when I was supposed to! 😂

If you were told you were approved and to wait a week then you didn't leave before you were supposed to. 😉

Congratulations!

Don't worry, I get it! After waiting for so long it is kind of a "what, is that it?" feeling! Hope everything goes well with the move and wedding! 😄

How did we meet?

What happened between meeting and now?

What does my fiancee do for work?

Is she a student?

Where does she live?

Where do we plan on living?

What's my plan for moving?

Have I changed my name?

Is Michigan cold?

As long as you've been hanging out in the UK forum, how could you have not read 10-20 threads/posts that asked that exact question.  Read what everybody says every day and file it away for when you get to that point. I'm also amazed at Pooley for the same thing.  Relax for a week because the status checker is variable and not an exact pattern. You got this. 👍

I try not to look at this unless I have a question or I get an email. Too much stress! But upon closer inspection, this question has been asked daily for the last 3 years!

😂

My method, which served me well, was read ahead and see all the screw ups other people did and know not to make the same mistakes they did when I got there. And along the way you learn all the common frets people have and are calm knowing it's normal.

So what's next for you?  Torn envelope? How long will status say AP?  How to send things over? Or the big one you could start instead of checking status so much...read the AOS forums and learn why people got RFEs and don't do whatever they did when you prepare your packet.
