Yes.  In 4 months increments up to 1 year

I think that you are referring to your I-129F visa petition from the petitioner has been approved (NOA2)? 

 

As other folks have posted, the Consular Officer (CO) can extend the expiration date:

Quote

My Petition Expired – Can It Be Extended?

 

The I-129F petition is valid for four months from the date of approval by USCIS. A consular officer can extend the validity of the petition if it expires before visa processing is completed.
