My Form I-797C Notice of action appointment letter states I have an appointment scheduled tomorrow morning at the Application Support Center in Milwaukee. However when I check the office hours it shows the office is closed on Fridays?

I would really love to avoid driving 8 hours round trip to a closed office. What am I missing?

ASC does biometrics, not field offices.  Many times they are in the same building but may have different working hours.

This is where your ASC is located. https://egov.uscis.gov/office-locator/#/asc Might not be same as field office.

Did all go OK with your biometric appointment?

Yes, it went fine. We had to wait for over an hour for the 5 minutes it took to for fingerprints/photo though. Thanks again for your help. Considering the long wait times I've been reading about, what is the best course of action when you are eligible to file N-400 before I-797 completion?

It's an individual choice.  My wife will file for N-400 ASAP regardless if I-751 (Removal of Conditions) is completed or not.

Going for my biometrics appt for removing conditions. Some people said that now you have to bring a passport as well as a drivers license. I am very concerned because I just sent my expired passport with forms to get a new one. Did you bring a passport with you?
