This is what I thought, as well. This table from the USCIS is what threw me off. Our case fit the first row so we were so confused. Thank you for explaining this in such a clear and concise manner!

Your case does not fit the first row because you don't even have an i-693 to begin with. You never had one.

So forget anything that says i-693 because it has nothing to do with you.

Okay, understood. So that means the medical report from her medical conducted in Russia is a different form than the I-693? I think it is called the DS-2054 and it is this document that was sent to the USCIS when they took her folder when she entered the United States?

Yes, it's a different one. The i-693 is only used by panel physicians inside the US, not abroad.

Her medical results/report was in the envelope she handed over at POE. It was then sent to USCIS and should be in her A-file there.

*Panel Physicians are USCIS designated surgeons abroad.

The I-693 is only used by US Civil Surgeons inside the US, not abroad.

This is the section of the policy manual that you should be looking at instead as it pertains to the K1 medical policy:

Thank you so much for the clarification. You and @Scandi have been wonderful at explaining all of this. You two have helped me a lot in the past here on this forum and I really appreciate the patience you both have with me. :D

So for us, since her adjustment of status was filed about 5 months after she had her medical done and also since she is adjusting from a K-1 visa, we should be good? Should we bring the completed DS-3025 with us to the interview? I know we submitted it with the adjustment of status package.

Yes, this pretty much explains it all. Thanks so much!

You should be good and if your not, dont waste your money on a new medical until after they request it at the interview as stated above. It's a waste of money as there only a tiny chance that your IO will request a new one (due to their inexperience or ignorance).

Yes, you will bring your copy of the DS3025 to the interview.

Yes, bring a copy of the 3025 to the interview.  In fact, we brought a copy of all of our submissions when Katya and I had our interview.  This was fortuitous as her birth certificate was misplaced and we were able to replace it immediately.

As to the medical question, I agree with @Scandi and @K1visaHopeful.

Good Luck!

No. If it's the one available on the USCIS website, it's current regardless of the date.

That's true. The medical valid for 2 years now. They have changed the timing

The 2 years medical validity has nothing to do with the expiration date printed on the form.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for!  Great discussion, and printed out this section with the uscis link...   Although wife had her bio in Vegas, our notice for appointment is down in Phoenix,

(4 hrs as opposed to 1 hour drive) After 13 months between bio apt, I emailed them questioning, since others filed after us and got their interview.  3 weeks after the email we got her apt! for June 24, at 8:10 am!  In and out and hit the road back home.  Gee, after that, it's the wait for the ROC,  then the wait for the N-400..

Congratulations on your approval! My wife's interview will be on August 1, 2019. We are very happy. Did they mention anything about the medical during your interview?

Just a quick fact about our particular case: Her medical was done late May of 2018 so her adjustment of status interview will be over 1 year after she had her medical done in Moscow. You advise we should just take the DS-3025 copy and skip having another medical, right?

No mention of my medical. I did visually see my K1 visa packet envelope as my IO was flipping through my A-file.

It doesnt matter when you get interviewed. It matters when you applied for AOS.

You should have submitted a photocopy of your copy of the DS3025 with I485 and bring your copy to the interview as if they've lost the DS3025 and you still have a copy, you can show them.

Not sure why anyone would spend $300 to $1000 on something they have a 2% chance of needing (because your IO doesnt know the policy or they lost your K1 visa packet on transfer from CBP to DHS). If you need it at the interview, they will tell you. Then you make an appointment to redo the medical and drop it off. It's not the end of the world if you have to do that. The sky is not falling.

But if you want to waste $1k I'll gladly send you my banking details.....

Yes, you are definitely right about that, ahahaha! Okay, sounds good. Thank you so much for your response and congratulations, once again!

UNRELATED BUT: Also, I am my wife's interpreter. Her English has drastically improved and she understands SO much compared to when she first arrived. However, her comfort level with actually speaking English is not as high as her ability to understand. I am bilingual myself thanks to my parents teaching me my ethnic language (Russian). Can I translate for her or does she need a non-related interpreter to translate her responses during her adjustment of status interview? I believe she will be able to understand most of the interviewer's questions but I don't know how well she can actually respond to them. Do you know anything about that? I apologize in advance if you don't know!
