She is closer, yes.  I actually found an old thread with info on how she can reschedule.

She will try it.

It's really my fault, she had the email sent to me, I thought she wanted me to confirm...so frustrated.

Sorry for venting so much

We have all been there. For one reason or another...Good Luck...

Finally done...

Thank you everyone for your response.

Update: she was able to get an appointment for May 22.  The July slot was for Clark, but she changed to the Manila office as there are more available slots.

She told me, and not sure where she got this from, that she was required to show airfare.  That confused me because no where in the requirements does it say that.  I even asked rapidvisa and they never heard that either.

Planning to get the airfare, just don't understand why they would request it at that class...

Any thoughts on that?

You can skip CFO if you travel to another country first. We went to Hong Kong for a short trip to visit friends before coming here, They didn't check for CFO at all exiting the Philippines.

Sounds like she is scheduling for PDOS (wrong) and not GCP < which is the seminar for Fiancee or Spouse of USC.

You had your visa in your passport and did not get "caught" for not having a CFO sticker ?   That is amazing.   Did you buy a round trip ticket to Hong Kong then had a separate flight from Hong Kong to the USA?

R did her CFO in September of 2018 in Cebu. She interviewed Feb 21, 2019 and received her visa on March 7 and picked up her CFO sticker from the Manila office on March 8. At no point was she required to show airfare. They even gave her a Woman's Day gift at the CFO office in Manila. Made her day)))

Finally done...

That is rather amazing, you should have bought a lottery ticket that day also.   There is a long list of those that tried that before and never got to fly .. without their CFO sticker.

No, there was someone else a few years back that did the same thing pretty much. She was a OFW in Singapore and either got the visa in Singapore then went to the Philippines before flying to the USA, or went back to the Philippines to do processing before flying out to the USA.

She did the class last week, got her sticker, no problem.  She will fly here June 7.

She told me that she needed 'pocket money' to come to the US. Said it was required from someone at the seminar.

After being there for her interview, purchasing airfare, missing two weeks at both jobs I am pretty strapped right now.

Anyone know how much pocket money she needs..?

I'm really at a loss here...

It's Up to you

She might get bumped on flight and get stuck at an airport and need pocket money, I am sure $100 US dollars would be enough.

Does she not have any money of her own?
