One keep track of everything about the fight and when your husband closed the joint bank account. I'm not sure when the interview is. I'm assuming that it's a month from when you get the letter. You need to talk to an attorney asap and see what they can do. Since I'm not an attorney, the only thing I can tell you is to document everything. Make sure you have all the photos and everything including divorce decree. If you're able to convert it to a divorce waiver, the USCIS is more likely going to schedule an interview.

he just recently closed it, actually he just removed his name and opened his own account. I found out after i sent the statements for RFE, he got really mad i requested statements for two years and the account went negative. our joint interview is first week of august, but he refused to go specially he has DUI classes he has to attend and wont do anything for me, or even re-schedule.

If it would be me, I would run to the courthouse and file the divorce at this very moment. Your situation is serious, uscis won’t approve you just like that if your husband won’t show up. You need an attorney, but I understand, maybe with the money situation, it’s tough. What are you planning to do?

June ..., 2019

Senator xxxxxxxxxxx
Boston, Massachusetts Office
2400 JFK Building
Boston, MA 02203

Dear Senator,

I am writing this letter to request your office's help in finding the status of our Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (I-751) application, which has been pending with the Texas Service Center for over 20 months. My husband and I had filed our I-751 application in October 2017 with Vermont Service Center.  I was then finger printed for the first time in December ……………….  After waiting for over 12 months, our case was transferred to Texas Service Center on December …………..  We received a request for “further evidence for good faith marriage” on …………………, and in this request the USCIS indicated that they will give an answer 60 days after they receive the additional evidence. We responded to this request, and sent the required documents, that were received on ………………. The status query website of USCIS was updated to reflect this the day these documents were received.

Recently I inquired the USCIS at Texas, and was told that our application is still pending due to a background check. It has been more than 3 months since we responded to the request for further evidence, and we do not understand why it is taking so long for the USCIS to look into our case. Since then, we haven't heard anything back from USCIS and are desperately waiting for our case to be approved.

I would like to request the help of your office to find out what exactly is happening with my case.  More specifically, it would be very much appreciated if your office could inquire about the following:

Look into my case at USCIS Texas Service Center, and have the immigration officers confirm the security check requests have actually been sent to the proper agencies and when;

Look into the corresponding agencies and have them to explain to you what exactly slowed down my case;

Urge the corresponding agencies to expedite (or rather, not to further delay) finishing my security check;

Urge the corresponding agencies to expedite sending the security check results back to the USCIS TSC;

Urge the immigration officer at USCIS TSC to expedite adjudicating my case, and if possible, push for a faster review.

I would highly appreciate any help that your office can provide in this matter.  If there is any additional questions that you have, you can contact me at ………………. or email me at ……………….  Thank you very much for your time.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
………………………………..

Here are more details of our case:

Primary applicant: xxxxxxxxxxx (I-751Receipt No: EACxxxxxxxxx), DOB: xxxxxxxxx
SSN# xxxxxxxx, A# xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Spouse: xxxxxxxxxxxx, SSN#xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx DOB: xxxxxxxxxxxx

I 751 Receipt Date: ……………..
1st Finger Print: ……………
Request  for Evidence (RFE) response received by USCIS …………………

Inquire: …………………………..

I hope it helps a little and you will need a uscis_privacy act release filled and signed and I added copies of all the documents that I got from the uscis about my case and then I sent all

I really appreciate that, thank you much.

Yes that’s what I’m planning to do. Im

Goin to file in Nevada so I could get a decree in 1-3 weeks. Just in time before my interview. If I get the final decree should I send a copy to USCIS if even maybe i

get it before the interview? Or just go straight and ask to

amend during the interview?

If you get it before interview, I think you should send them an explanation letter with the decree. Anyways, be prepared to go to the interview with as much evidence as possible.

Like other folx who commented above, it would be best to talk to an attorney. With bank statements, hopefully you keep copies of everything. Go to the interview prepared and bring all your documents.

Guys I really need help with my case 😕

I751 – In June 2017 I filled for removal of conditions (joint) I sent a bunch of evidences (bank statements, credit cards, personal loans, bills and insurances in both names, pictures and affidavit letters.)

·         In January 2018 after filling the taxes we sent another package to add our 2017 tax return form.

·         I receive the message that my case was transferred to a local office in March.

·         In March we separated since our relationship was not working

·         In May 2018 the divorce process was finalized, I sent the final decree (divorce) to the office in California

·         In November 2018 I got a letter asking me to amend my form to waiver, I signed and the document was sent back.

·           I got then the following message:

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On November 2, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number…, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by December 2, 2018.

Then I received a letter explaining that my case was sent to benefit center and now they can schedule an interview.

I did not hear anything back since then, also I’m trying to change my address and I tried online and over the phone with the representative and somehow, they are sending the notification to Texas. In my last call the representative transferred my case to a supervisor who told me that my case is in the California center. After that a ticket was open inquiring why I did not receive my approval. Nothing was done. Then another representative open a ticket inquiring why my case is taking too long. My local office informed that is under the normal processing time

I’m assuming that because I amended to a waiver the process time started all over again.

Do you guys have any ideas? I’m more than 2 years waiting for an answer and I don’t know what to do :(

I applied in October 2017 and got rfe in feb 2019 i responded to it and been almost 120 days and still no answers. And my divorce gonna be finalized this coming Monday and i will send the decree and it might take even longer now.  Last time i sent inquiry about my case they told me my case is in an offsite stotage facility. It's not even in their office...

Did you include a letter that you are in the process of getting a divorce?

What is your local office? How were you able to make an inquiry that you did not receive your approval?  How many inquiries all together you had and what were the answers? I’m also waiting, getting closer to 21 month. On my last inquiry that case is out of processing time, my local office also responded that case is within processing time, which is a bs. I made USCIS customer service submit another inquiry on the day I got a response. I’m literally giving them another 30 days and will be reaching out to my governor.

Basically I contacted them to change my address (I tried 4 times and didn’t go through) the representative then transferred the case to a supervisor who called me. My inquiry was about the address update but he also opened a ticket inquiring about an approval notice that I didn’t receive. Few weeks later I called to check if my address was updated and it wasn’t then this agent opened an inquiry in regards to the time that is taking to process my case. My local office (orlando) replied saying that within the processing time. I’m assuming that by the moment that my case got amended to a waiver (dec 18) the process time restarted.
