We received good news today from NVC by email that stated our documents would be mailed to the embassy in Kyiv.  Is there any experience for how long this takes to arrive in Kiev and then schedule the interview? I know all embassies are different, but trying to get a good idea to set our expectations.  Will they mail or email documents to her? We’re hoping to get an interview in June so she can be here by July.  He is our timeline:

12 Oct 2018 - Petition mailed

18 Oct 2018 - NOA1

1 Apr 2019 - NOA2

14 May 2019 - NVC approval

wish us luck 🤞

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

OP is applying for a K-1 visa, which works differently than a CR/IR-1.

Watch your status on  ceac.gov.  DHL to Kyiv is just a couple days.  I am certain Kyiv has the k1 instructions online

They should've arrived today (17 May) Assuming status reads Ready on ceac site, fill free to pay your visa fee, fill out DS-160 and do your Medical, and schedule the interview. You do not need to wait for anything from Kyiv Embassy, but they will e-mail you something probably on Monday.

Your little late as their timeline shows they were approved at their interview. But, your offer may help others. Thanks.

Will Kyiv inform me the Petitioner of my fiancee by email  when they receive the packet from NVC or does my fiancee just have to wait for the mail ? My case just arrived at NVC on August 29, and we need to make plans to go to Kyiv. Can you suggest what date we can expect hear from Embassy ? Will they email me or just send mail to my fiancee ? Thanks

Your fiancée will be notified by email and it just takes a few days.  I made our arrangements once she received the email and she was immediately able to logon and schedule her interview a few weeks in advance.

Thanks for your fast reply, but I just looked at my I129F initial form, and nowhere have I given my fiancee's email. Only my email as the petitioner is given. How will they email my fiancee when they do not know her email address ? How did you inform them of your fiancee's email ?

Thanks.
