Hi all, just a quick question. When sending in Packet 3 to the email address listed, do I only need to send a copy of the check list (checked off and signed) or do I need to send the checklist (checked off and signed) along with the actual documents that are on the checklist as well.

Just the checked off and signed checklist. You will bring originals and photocopies of the applicable documents to the interview.

Thank you!! Just wanting to get an idea of what's to come :)

Do you remember, how long from Ready status to you received your P3?

Also, which specific items on the checklist should we bring photocopies to the interview?

One more question - how long does it take to get a return email (not including the auto response) after sending the P3 information back?

A day normally.

It varies, but can be long.  Mine was at least 10 days; if you're in an awkward spot between when they ran out of appointments for the month before and are waiting to release the next month, it can be longer as well.  You'll watch people in other countries get theirs faster and it'll probably make you a bit bitter; Montreal is slow.  Canada is a great place, but we are sloooooooow for visas.

We emailed a few times and after a different Ready message we got a reply. So about 3 weeks for us. Interview dates were available Wednesdays in August so turned out quite easy. Next is medical and preparing for the interview.

Mine took one day, I woke up and had P4 already emailed to me.

This reply means the world thank you so much
