Does this process still work. My wife submitted he e-mail 10 days ago and still has not received a reply. I have called NVC and they have not assigned and agent. Does anyone have recent experience with this process?

we did it through email and 2 days later got a response from the nvc. did your wife send it from her email account? did she save a copy? can she check if the address was correct? did she provide enough information?

We copied the letter almost verbatium from Jame's shortcuts. We sent her request from one of her three email accounts. Another day past and still no response. Do you think we should try again?

Do they actually check the sender of the email? I sent it in behalf of my fiancee (who is the petitioner) and they just replied after a few days that they have no record of the documents

02/04/2008: Received permanent resident card (approved 01/30/2008)

If your petition was approved yesterday, the NVC can't possibly have any record of your case yet. It takes a few weeks for it to get there from the service center you were approved at.

Do they actually check the sender of the email? I sent it in behalf of my fiancee (who is the petitioner) and they just replied after a few days that they have no record of the documents

6/04/2009 - check cashed (fast!)

6/08/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 6/01)

6/22/2009 - received Biometrics Appt. Notice

7/01/2009 - received rescheduled Appt. Notice

7/23/2009 - Biometr. Appt.

7/24/2009 - A touch, a touch!

8/20/2009 - APPROVED! Oh, glorious day!

8/25/2009 - Card production e-mail received

8/31/2009 - Card received. Error :(

9/05/2009 - Returned green card with evidence of error & I-90

9/16/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 9/14)

10/27/2009 - Correct card issued

Do you know for sure that NVC generated the Choice of agent Ds 3032? If yes and if you emailed them after NVC generated the choice of agent, then you will get a reply. I also got my reply after 9 days, though I know most people get it within 2-3 days. If you emailed NVC before they generated choice of agent, then you won't get a reply. In that case, email them now.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

I e-mailed on May 22nd, the day after my DS3032 was generated, and got a reply 2 days later. If your DS3032 had been generated when you e-mailed them, I'd check back.

I know it. I dread listening to that voice every time I call, not pleasant at all. ^_^

Well no he won't make the top 10 of dreamy voices, but I don't want to be NVC-ist at all because at least they will talk to me and answer my emails in a couple of days - and quite sweetly too - not like the USCIS - they were scary. I am unashamedly USCIS-ist

Now they have the file and have given it a number etc I feel much more relaxed...

It's Tuesday morning for me - I know it - the voices told me so !
