today, we received NOAs for I-130, I-765 and I-131 but not I-485. the numbers for the NOAs begin with MSC. the odd thing is that the 765 and 131 were bundled with the 485, which was filed concurrently with the 130. he is here on an h1-b but we specifically mentioned that the AOS is based on marriage. should we be concerned that there is not receipt notice for the 485?

thanks.

It should arrive soon, I wouldn't be too concerned. I'm sure USCIS figured out that your AOS is based on marriage, since you filed I-130, so this is not a problem :)

They cashed your checks, right? If yes, the NOA should be issued and mailed to you. If it doesn't arrive for another week, I would schedule an Infopass appointment to find out what happened.

Filed AOS from F-1
Green Card approved on 01/04/07
Conditions removed 01/29/09

Citizenship Oath 08/23/12

thank you for your response. no, at this time checks have not cleared my bank. i will keep checking the account, and hopefully there will be a notice number on the back of the 485 check. even better would be a NOA for the 485

ok here is another question along the same lines.

all the checks cleared today.......however the numbers that begin with MSC on the back of the check do not match with the receipt numbers that are on the NOAs. and even though it is one day later, still nothing on the I-485.

any ideas? is this typical?

thanks

If you have access to the bank online try to find the check of the I-485 (cashed?) to see in the back of the check the Case number then in the USCIS check the status of your I-485. My NOAs arrived all same day. Good luck.

thank you for your response

however the check is the issue. all the checks have been cashed. the numbers that begin with MSC on the back of the checks do not match the receipt numbers on the the NOAs that arrived for the I-765, I-130 and the I-131.

is this typical?
