DV and AP (split)

hi to all, 

 

my dv interview was on 7th may 2019 and everything went smooth.co didnt gave me any slip 212 g neither asked for any further documents.he said your visa is approved and took my passport and said you will get your visa n passport within 14 days.my status that day changed from READY to AP and since interview day the last updated dates are changing on daily basis but status still shows AP. no instructions no email from embassy islamabad.its been a week and that AP status is so much frustrating.feeling hanged from last week.any observation or advise pls ?

Timeline

It's possible it could change soon or remain in AP. since no one can really determine what AP entirely involves or how long it takes to do those things I don't think any timeline can even attempt to be given. I guess you're in a "wait and be patient" spot right now unfortunately.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

Yes, but most of them don't get told they need to wait 2 weeks for their visas. Clearly things just happen slower at your embassy, which is after all a busy one. Patience.

 

Also, this is only the 4th working day since your interview.

thanks susie for ur moral support.its been a year am following brit, U and mom and i am big fan of you ppl. ur opinion and words r absolutely right but i have to accept that with each passing day i am feeling nervous hahaha.i remember that movie avatar dialogue that sometimes your life boils down to one insane move and that move is "status issued" haha

u r right about wait n patience.at the same time talking to ppl like you makes this journey comfortable.thanx
