Done with ny interview last May 8, 2019. Consulate told me that visa has been approved and I should wait for 2-4weeks for my visa. I wasn't asked for any additional docs nor issued any slips like 221g. The status on CEAC went to AP, but on the next day, May 9, it went to ISSUED. I was so happy. I waited for any call or email until the next day, May 10, it went back to AP. weekends have passed and its Monday now, May 13, still on AP. is it normal to go back to AP again after it has updated to ISSUED already? It is really frustrating to think that i went back to the black hole again.

Timeline:

May 8 - interview date : AP

May 9 - ISSUED

May 10 - AP

May 11-12 - no updated, weekend

May 13 - AP

You need to wait four weeks from May 8 before being defeated.

Btw it will be 20 working days and there is USA federal holiday this month. National holidays in your country are recognized too.

Exactly. That makes me wondering. It was already in ISSUED status but it went back to AP. Its really confusing. It adds to the frustration. Btw its in Manila PH.

Hey, just checking, how's it goin on now about your visa? Still on AP?

Hi. Still on AP. We tried to contact them via phone and email but they can't give me any reasons to why. ONLY UNTIL I RECEIVED BACK MY PASSPORT WITHOUT VISA +221g. I had to go to the US embassy itself and desperately ask them why. Thankfully a staff got annoyed with me (good thing) and personally asked inside. She got back with me and told me that I just need to reupload a new copy of my police clearance and when done, just send back my passport together with the 221g and nbi clearance. Got an update today still on AP. Last status update was on May 16.

Now it made sense to me, why they jad it issued then went back to AP. They sent my passport back. They could have kept my passport with them and just email the 221g but still chose to SNAILLLLMAILLLLLL the docs. Grrrrr
