Hi everyone! I am new to visa journey. My husband has his interview here in Egypt tomorrow morning and We are very nervous. Our lawyer told us that the embassy here in Cairo has not been too stable with approvals and he is saying it’s a mess. I don’t know what that means. Can anyone PLEASE share your experience with me this past few months?? Thank you so much and good luck and God bless everyone here on this journey!

My husband had his interview last June in Cairo. Interview went good, CO was really nice and said all papers were complete. Then told him to complete the supplementary questionnaire (DS5535) and said it’ll take weeks or months for a decision. His Case has been on AP since. But I’ve read a bunch of people on VJ have been to interviews at Cairo and Got approves on the interview day lately. Best of Luck! And I pray he doesn’t get stuck in AP too. Just be prepared for anything.

You’ve been in AP since last June? For almost one year?
