How much was the fine?

even when they run a background check on you and it shows up - they’ll see that it happened AFTER filing ROC petition.  So it’s not like you were trying to hide it from them.   So you should be fine.

Shouldn't effect it at all. Not sure what state you are in, but look for a " ticket terminator" type attorney, they can get them reduced to a parking ticket and make it disappear. Benefits of this include no record, no insurance increase, no going to court,no classes ( Some states require them), and usually a reduced fine. If you tell me what city your in, I may be able to help you search. Usually only 25-50 bucks, plus the fine and court costs. You can also take care of it yourself by talking to the Prosecutor when you go to court. Get there a little early, and you should be able to find him easily, if not ask a bailiff, and all you have to say is hey, I'm going thru some immigration process is there anyway to reduce the speeding ticket to say a parking ticket. 99% of the time it's a done deal, I have yet to see a prosecutor get crazy over a speeding ticket, they will call your name, he will tell the judge to reduce it, amend it, and your on your way no record. Now, if it's speeding with a DUI, reckless endangerment, vehicular homicide, etc something a little more serious, don't expect any love from him. All the courts want is the money to be honest, and if wiping the record separates you from your money faster they are all about it. It is done all the time, so you are not doing anything out of the ordinary. Another option is to go to court, plead not guilty, they will set up a date for you and the officer to be there to share the facts of the ticket. Once again, 9 out of 10 times the cop isn't going to show up, especially if you got the ticket late at night not to many officers show up to court in the mornings after working all night, and they sure are not showing up on their day off for a speeding ticket. Officer doesn't show up and case is dismissed for want of prosecution, then you walk out no fine no court costs or anything. so, your choice, you can just pay it and move on and take the hit with insurance and stuff, but it's so easy to make them disappear, that is what I would do.

The fine was $130. Is that too high ?

Don't stress, it's one speeding ticket, and you're going to pay the fine and save the receipt, right? ;)

For ROC, there's no need to disclose anything.  For N-400 it seems the best course is to disclose, but for simple traffic infractions under $500 you don't have to provide any additional documentation.  Just hang onto it as a backup in case of an RFE or interview.
