My case is very similar  , transferred from VSC to TSC on March 20 , on web site shows RFE , but haven received the letter on mail, it’s  been 2 weeks already , can you please share the address and requirements of the RFE please ? Thanks !

Hi,

I still didnt get the letter of RFE they had mailed me. I called the USCIS 1800 number and asked them to transfer me to the immigration officer. After a long wait, I had an officer and told them that I didnt receive the letter in mail yet and he emailed me the copy of the RFE was that send.

SO I had a copy of the rfe and I started gathering my documents and send it back in 2 days.

It was a generic rfe that came because I changed my address. So they wanted our new lease and show that we still lived together. They had asked for utility bills and even bona fide affidavits from 3rd party. SO I submitted almost everything again just to be safe.

They received my RFE on Aug 21st and now im waiting for a decision. ANy idea how long Texas takes to approve??

RFE for address change ? Even i had Address Change(Updated AR11 online). Our case is still at "Fingerprint complete".

Does anyone know if Address change always triggers RFE ? Any similar cases ?

I have heard they usually ask for vidences showing that after the address change you still live together. TO read further, there is and RFE channel that you can follow.

You need to submit your partner's change of address form. He needs it to do that as a person responsible for your life so that you don't become a public burden for 5 years.

Question for all those who have gotten through already; yesterday the website said that my new card is being produced and today it says that my case was approved, no mention of the new card. Is that normal? That’s the order it goes in? From showing card is being produced to just approved??

Any updates for people who are waiting for approval after RFE to Texas.

Please advise.

I got my RFE July 21st, and I sent the packet of evidence to Texas recently. I got an update saying that they had received the packet on August 27th and that they were working on my case again. It's only been a week for me, but I still check the status often!
