Thank you for answering my questuon, Yes I do have 18th month extension, and it is as well nearly approaching to end. I tried to reach info pass in sacramento but it says they don’t do walk in and scheduled appointment. That’s why i am so worried. I’ve seen a lot of people got approved for April from CSC and my case update is still about fingerprint received in June 5.

I called USCIS last week and Monday, Tier 1 can't help and not able to transfer me to Tier 2.

Tier 1 supervisor said we can't make infopass until 30 days before our extension letter ends.

Are you in San Diego? I have not received any update since Feb 28 for Biometric as well.

I see, AppleP, you've got the 18-month extension. As weiwei suggests, you should be able to do InfoPass in some location when the letter will expire in 30 days. That's what a lawyer recommended me. My case was only 12-month extension so it seems it was easier for USCIS to handle the situation. You'll need to call the general USCIS customer service number to get a stamp on your passport when the time comes. They will make an appointment for you on the spot.

Please take time to read, first time posting here 😭

To shorten this up, we filed with CSC end of April 2018, then the case was moved to Nebraska Service Center, biometrics were waived, then we received an RFE early May (letter was dated May 1). It took time for us to gather all documents that we can (hope that it's enough).  The deadline is this August 1, we filed it yesterday (8 lbs 😨) and based on my tracking number it says that they received it awhile ago (July 24 at 10 am).

- Is there anyone here who's going through the same experience as me (with RFE)? If so, how's your experience/timeline?

- As long as they received my documents before the deadline (Aug 1) it should be fine, right?

- Do you think what I submitted is enough? (See below)

We sent the following:

- my daughter's school records showing my spouse as her contact/guardian (but the address there was still our old address, would it matter?)

- DMV IDs (both previous and current address)

- affidavit from landlady attesting to cohabitation

- lease of our new address (they have the old ones already)

- furniture receipts with our names for our new apartment

- some rent receipts

- utility bills under both our names & same address (pg&e, yes energy, comcast) (i only sent one statement per bill, that's fine right?)

- joint bank account statements (3 joint bank accounts: 1 opened when married 2015 both checking and savings statements, 1 opened last november 2018 with all statements, 1 opened way back 2011 when I haven't met my spouse yet, but i was added 2018 so i printed out statements of those)

- durable power of attorney (both of us)

- irs tax return transcripts (2018 & 2017 only, we don't have 2015 and 2016 :( )

- costco membership cards (i sent a photocopy of our cards, i believe it's joint although idk what's in the card that shows it)

credit card statements and card with same account number (because joint)

- life insurance listing spouse as beneficiary

- health insurance cards only

- joint auto insurance (recent statement only; also, my husband's car is under his name only)

monthly summary of telephone calls (minutes) per month

- details of doctor's appointments (showing that i'm there with him, and that i communicate with his doctor through emails about him)

I’m a silent follower of this thread. I saw that I have mail coming in from USCIS today. I got no text or email from them so I have no idea. When I checked my case on old and new sites, no recent update was made. What do you think this mail is? I feel like I’m getting anxiety attack!😂

Hi, do you mind sharing what you sent back to them after RFE? I’m gathering my documents as well since receiving the RFE and all information I get will be helpful. Thanks

Absolutely not 😊

We got a generic RFE basically to proof that our marriage is legit. I will say, we have 30 years in age difference which is why I initially already sent in a bunch of evidence, knowing that this might be happening.

This is what I’ve sent in.

I wrote a letter explaining our relationship.

So did my husband.

4 Affidavits (Sister in Law, My brother, two Friends)

Drivers Licenses of both of us

Travel documentation (we traveled quiet a bit) with Photos and activities we booked

Pictures of our life together month to month for 5 years of relationship (4 years of marriage)

Facebook Post/Photos Screenshots

Car Insurances in Our Name

Joint Health Insurance

Joint Cell Phone Plans

Our Rental Agreement for the House we’ve lived in for 4 years. Signed by both of us

Joint Tax Returns for 4 Years

Joint Car Loan

Bank Statements showing my monthly transfer the money for Rent/Car to his account

That what we sent.
