I-751 April 2018 Filers (Part 2)

Today, for the first time, the old site didn't give me the validation error. It shows that fingerprints are completed as of today 5/25. The kinda weird thing is the new site says as of 5/21. And they were actually completed 5/20. Either way, keeping my fingers crossed this is a good thing.

Oh my gosh!!! I Just checked the old site and it says “New card is being produced”!!!! The new site still says case was transferred. I really hope this ain’t a glitch! Case was transferred from CSC to Nebraska on March 7th.

For anyone that has case approved on the old site but didn’t update on the new site.....has the new site updated for you yet? Have you received the approval letter in the mail?

Thank you! I checked on Friday and didn’t see an update. Just for the heck of it, I decided to check last night (right before I posted about it) and there was the glorious update.

CASE WAS APPROVED/NEW CARD being produced

 

Old website:

CASE WAS APPROVED.

 

Still awaiting the approval notice in mail.

I applied (I-751) on April 6th 2018 to VSC and a few months later my case was transferred to TSC , little frustrating to see people that applied more than 1 month later than me being approved, does some body has an update from TSC or similar case??? Thanks in advance.

Same shoes as you exactly. No updates from TSC whatsoever. Very frustrating even though I’m happy for the others.

I just noticed that my 1st and last names are flipped on my new 10yr permanent resident card. The spellings are correct, but my 1st name got the last name and last name got the 1st.... agh. What should I do to correct this? File i-90 online?? Please advice. I checked my old card and everything is correct. Thank you

You can file online to Replace the resident card. You'd have to send it back for the correction and you shouldn't have to pay anything since it's their mistake. It is recommended to scan/copy the greencard as proof that they issued you one and send a scan showing your old one with the correct positioning of the names.

 

This is what happens when USCIS does a rush job and it sucks! 😕

Thanks a lot. I have my N400 bio appointment tomorrow. Just spoke with USCIS on the phone and they advised to discuss the issue tomorrow during the bio. If they say I have to correct it then file i-90. Since I already filed N400 and naturalization may be processed before I get my new "corrected" green card they may say it's not required. In that case I don't have to worry about it. Hope it goes the latter.

Thank you! 😃 looking forward to going places without husband worrying about carrying an extension letter too. Maybe he will get it this week or next. How long did it take to get yours once it went to “card being produced” status?
