Hello everyone

its been awhile since I posted. I just want to update that my husband has been on AP for 1 year and 7 months with no updates since sept 26, 2019. I sent a request for inquiries to my local senator who was helping me with my case on October but he ignored my email and never replied me. I sent another request last week and haven’t heard from him again so I will just give up trying.

I now feel hopeless. Plz pray for

My advise for you. you contact with congressman. and also you can hire a attorney for lawsuit. on whatsapp one group is Administrative processing there all people are in group who are in Ap you can join that group and share your problem many people are in group who was in Ap and now got the visa so you must joint that group.

Alhamdulillah...Congratulations!

Was your husband asked to bring any documents to the re-oath and fingerprints?

No documents were asked. He had an expired passport so they asked him to bring a renewed one that’s all.

Hello everyone.

I am trying to finally be able to go to the US filling another J1 with start date past the actual J1 I have now.

Is it possible that they put me in AP again considering they didn't clear my last one? How likely? Can you avoid AP by stating to the interviewer at the embassy that you are in a rush to leave?

Thank you.

Hi fellows.I have been in A.P From FEB 2018(IR-1) category.last week my CEAC status changed from A.P to EXPIRED.It says your petition is cancelled until you pursue. If you are still interested in obtaining an immigrant visa petitioner should contact USCIS regarding filling new immigrant petition.I am not computer frendly but as soon i figure out i will post the picture of CEAC window.

Is it possible that they put me in AP again considering they didn't clear my last one? If the reason for your last AP is still present, why would you expect anything different?  How likely? Can you avoid AP by stating to the interviewer at the embassy that you are in a rush to leave?  No.

Thank you.

Did they ask about any document or Ds5535 (additional questions form) which you have not submitted after interview?

What's the reason anyway? Because nobody said to me I would be in AP, they just decided after my interview without even telling me, no slip, no nothing.

No way of knowing.  Maybe security checks?  What is your country of origin?

My point was, if your case is mired in security checks, submitting another visa application will not solve the problem.
