I got a email response telling me that the documents have been received.

Yeah I check everyday but my case was last updated on the 5th December and today marks 4 weeks since my interview.

Not sure what is going on but just have to remain patient i suppose.

Not sure if any of you follow some of the attorneys who file WOMs but here is a webinar from one who a lot of people in different groups have used.  It may give some insight for anyone thinking of filing one.

Hi so my husband was asked to resubmit medical and pictures and Ds260 in October 2019. Case has been in AP since November 2018 Islamabad embassy.

Today we received email to appear for reoath and fingerprints and to bring a valid PPT.

Anyone know what happens at this type of appointment and a PPT is a passport?

Just wondering, what date did they ask you to reappear at embassy? Trying to see how later is the date they give for reappearing from the date they email. Asking because I'm in similar situation and hoping to receive a similar email but I would be traveling within pakistan

This thread has been quite lately.  Does anyone have any news?

Our ds260 reopened then showed incomplete we reached out to the embassy several times since October regarding this but just a generic AP response nothing in regards to the application.   I'm so sick with the lack of movement in our case and completed it anyway today and right after our case updated.  Has anyone else done this?

Hello,

quick timeline:

12-18-19: Interview. Approved. Passport was kept. No 221g given or anything.

12-19-19: Immigrant visa changed to non-immigrant visa as below image.

12-23-19: email by Montreal for DS5535 - Sent back same date. But did not see any change to CASE LAST UPDATED on below image.

I did not even know about DS5535-originally me and my fiancé sent it back thinking we forgot something on DS160.

Until I started to research few days later.

My fiancé is in Canada on Work Permit, with India Citizenship, education Mechanical Engineering.

Just posting here to see if anyone with India citizenship in Montreal Embassy or other US Embassy was given or sent an Email for DS5535.

If can share timeline.
