After being in AP since Feb 2018, I was asked to submit medical, passport size photos, and DS 260 updated confirmation page in Oct 2019. DS5535 was submitted 2 days after the interview in 2018.  Requested items were submitted in Oct 2019. No updates after that. Case updated on Dec 9 and Dec 10. Received an email to show up in Islamabad Embassy for Re-Oath and fingerprints. They didn't ask to bring anything else. They never kept my passport after the interview in Feb 2018. Has anyone had experience with re-oath and fingerprints in IR1 case (Spouse of the U.S Citizen) at Islamabad Embassy?

Hi when are u supose to appear for re oath and finger print?

My husband’s case has been very similar except we haven’t been asked for re oath fingerprint yet. We submitted updated DS260 and new medical and passport pics. My husband’s passport was expired so he renewed that but embassy hasn’t asked for it back yet.

Hi so my husband was asked to resubmit medical and pictures and Ds260 in October 2019. Case has been in AP since November 2018 Islamabad embassy.

Today we received email to appear for reoath and fingerprints and to bring a valid PPT.

Anyone know what happens at this type of appointment and a PPT is a passport?

Did he submit a passport before ?

They kept his passport at the interview back in November 2018. Then sent it back beginning of December 2019 to renew.

Ah I see so yes ppt is passport. It depends on what happens that day. He will be interviewed again after the oath and finger prints. But them calling him back is a good sign. When my parents were called they were issued visa on spot as in the case updated the same day to issued. But for some from the thread I have seen they had to either wait or there were some other circumstances.
