We have been waiting almost 18 months and I have not received a single update since Nov 2018!!! Only updates if I email them.

I wish they start to process these cases soon. We are all tired of waiting and being apart from our loved ones 😩 I feel your frustration. I wonder what are they doing in Kabul? Our last update was August 28, 2019 after our senator sent in an inquiry. Last update without emails or inquiries was in April 2019

HI @Roor.M  congrats, can you plz tell me the lawyer name and contact, it will be highly appreciated.

Congrats on what? Knowing more? Haha

Okay her name is Maisoun and this is her email Sulfab@sulfablaw.com.

I couldn't find her office number! But I asked my husband for you. Her office usually schedules a 30 min call for free for you with the lawyer herself and then she let's you know if she'll take the case and the rate or what.

Wa jazak!

Okay this is the number

+1 (510) 693-3907

Best of luck!!

To those who passed the 18 months mark and your case seems straight forward and you've no a legit reason to be in AP. I recommend you ask or discuss writ of mandamus with your lawyer.

No, the lawyer is in the US! You've to hire a lawyer in the states not the forigen country. We did the papers and hiring online. She sent me the forms I needed to fill and sign and I sent her back a scan.

My husband is currently with me in Sudan to see where is this going.

Hi! I’m just looking back at your post and I was thinking about hiring a lawyer in the foreign country. How do you know that we have to hire a lawyer in the states and not the foreign country?
