I sent an inquiry on Monday and have not gotten an update or a response.   It updated on its own July 25th and I have heard nothing since.

I sent one in july and one this month and didn't get a single reply. Looks like no one is getting anywhere. It has been very slow this month.

Just so you know, Monday September 2nd is an American holiday so don’t be looking for an update or an answer to your email until next week. 5 months in AP is just the beginning of the stay. Try 12 months of AP before they even consider looking into your file. Sorry for the Debbie downer response. Patience is a virtue but hard to maintain!

Thank you. I was just thinking why aren't they even replying to the inquiries.

My senator sent an inquiry to Kabul US Embassy on 8/27 and in 8/28 I got an update and a response to the inquiry..... the same old same. My husband is in AP and it can’t be waived or expedited, blah blah blah 😩

Make sure you are entering the number correctly and that you have chosen the correct option immigrant or non immigrant.   If that doesn't work you' can call NVC.  I have not had this problem.
