18 months in AP. Had my interview for CR1 visa at Khartoum, Sudan.

alhamdullilah got my passports today with visa. interview was on 9th may  2019 and was put on 221 g and given ds5535 form and after two months got the visas, dont lose hope . i know its very hard to wait

IR5 (parents visa), today Islamabad embassy requested to resubmit medical/photographs, so I guess they will issue visa soon.

Interview date: Feb 2018, i.e., waiting for 16 months.

12.5 months on AP. Interview in Kabul Afghanistan.... I too was curious about WOM but unfortunately I haven’t come across anyone who has had success with it... or anyone who is currently going through it. I just know my lawyer is charging 3500$ if I want to move forward with it.

 

We decided to wait... my husband’s passport expires next April. We are hoping he gets his visa soon. If it gets close to his passport expiration date then we might move forward with the WOM

Not sure, but i think work in Saudi Arabia might have triggered  it. But we are glad it almost over. Hope after they get updated documents, they will issue visa soon.

How many updates you got on your case before the embassy contacted you for additional docs ?

Three updates in last 3 weeks. Another sign was that ds-260 got reopened with a note to add some additional information.

Lawyer Jennifer Nimer has a 98% approval rate with these lawsuits.

I got an email from the local senator that an officer from the Embassy replied to his inquiry by saying that my husband in still under necessary administrative processing and that we will be notified once his case is complete.

 

the senator received the same reply I get. I don’t see the point of contacting the local senator. This is his second inquiry and he’s still getting the same reply.
