Guys I asked whether they have received my documents and I just got a canned response with zero relation to my question.

What can I do to really make sure whether they have gotten my documents? I don't even know who to call because the embassy site only has emails for questions regarding current cases that are being worked on. The only phone number on the page is just for general questions, not cases they are currently processing.

What do I do?!

The same with the Morocco U.S. consulate, we can only send emails. The way I knew they received my documents is by calling the NVC customer service number. I asked them if they received my documents (name all your documents). And they said yes. The person who will answer the customer service line will not be able to see your documents but ask then if they can transfer you to someone who can see more information on your case. That’s what I always do. Hope this helps.

After 11 months my moms case went from ready to administrative processing and this is the first time both mom and dads case updated together (dad has been in AP since the start). Could this be a good sign or is this normal ?

My husband’s case on Ceac said “reopened” for the DS 260... and that we must update the forms. So we emailed the Embassy and they said not to do anything and that he is still on AP. It’s been 1 year and a couple of weeks for AP.

The wait is so long! We are together on holiday now but we will part in a few days... it’s so hard to enjoy these days knowing we will part again and not know when this whole process will end! 😩

No nothing last update was 17june and that too on case inquiry.

I got 2 updates last week - nothing changed though.

My passport would be expiring next month. Should I request it back from the embassy and send them the new one? How does this work?

Well the last update I got 3 times in a row which is on May 23rd. My passport expiring in January 2020. I dont know whether I should write to consulate or I should wait for their call to submit new In my case I still got 6 months until my passport expires, whatever you do keep me in loop I might need to do same.

Interesting. I had two updates in a row too and this time it was outside of an inquiry and one of our cases was changed from being ready for 10 months to AP. It’s strange that after those two updates there is complete silence. On the other hand it seems multiple people are reporting case updates since May and no further movements.
