I am talking about that said part, did you fill that part out? Because I didn't and maybe that's why they have issues assigning that document to my case ID which is why they haven't even started processing my case?!

I would assume as it it grayed out that you do not.   Anytime I fill out any documentation the grayed out area is for official use only.   You can always ask them to be sure but I'm almost positive you would not fill out that section.

Our response after asking them specifically if they received it:

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.  Our records indicate that your submitted documents (Additional questionnaire) have been received; however, they are currently pending review.  We will complete the review as soon as possible.

Your immigrant visa case is refused for administrative processing, an integral part of the visa adjudication and issuance process that can neither be neither expedited nor waived. Unfortunately, it is difficult to predict the amount of time the processing will take and timing varies based on the individual circumstances of each case.

Please be assured that we are aware of your concerns and will process the application to completion as quickly as possible, in accordance with U.S. laws.  We recognize that this process can be frustrating for applicants and regret any inconvenience.  The visa application will be reconsidered when administrative processing is complete.

Thank you for your kind understanding."

I asked them if they needed any documents or have received all required documents but they still sent the generic email back.

At islamabad consulate we get ds5535 in mail called additional information so no idea about greyed area but normally it's for official use.

No, it says for official use so I didn’t fill it out. I only got updates when I submitted forms or when I requested for my husband’s passport back. So they haven’t been working on our case either.
