I think the date is for them not us and has no correlation to how long our case will take.  It's the form itself that expires.

I'm just confused that since 2017 never once has our ds-260 reopened or have we been asked to update it.

I don's think it has to do anything with AP time farme. Ours date change to 2022 as well in April sometime and Visa issued in May.

My case ds 260 changed also from 2019 to 2022 .I am worried why without asking added another 3 years. Waiting for last 23 months. My question is this because of backlog or I am going for long marathon?

I’m wondering the same thing since mine changed to similar dates as well

Praying we all get the news we’ve been waiting for... Ameen!

1 year since interview is fast approaching and still on AP...

has anyone gotten any updates lately?

How often do you check your case on Ceac?

Submit an inquire to Kabul embassy via their online portal and ask to take care of DS-260 while on AP. If you already re-submitted DS-260 than discard my advice.

Contacted nvc they told me to email Embassy bc case is with them. In the past 14 months of AP I have checked the ceac website 3 times. It went from complete to reopened to incomplete. Is incomplete on the ds 260 mean that there's missing info or maybe to just update? Hopefully this means our case is almost finished 🙏

My DS-260 was Re-Opened and there was a statement at the top (after I logged-into CEAC) that "One or more of the DS-260 form(s) have been re-opened as some update is required. And that I need to resubmit the form.

When I resubmitted the form, now, when I re-loggedin to check ceac, it says "COMPLETE" But if I hover over complete, it says something like that "Before this form can be reviewed, I need to submit the documents"

- What does this mean? Do I also need to re-submit the forms to NVC or no?

NOTES:

- It has been more than 1 year that I'm in AP and I received 5535.

- I did't receive any email/call from embassy to update the DS-260 form but I did it when I saw a statement at the top to do so.
