hey everbody!

im about to obtain all the necessary docs for my "when ever interview" and i was wondring about the passport style pics. i know everything important about the pics except if i am allowed to wear my bangs down! they cover my whole forehead and go till my eyes/eyebrows! do i have to pull them back for the pics or is it ok as long as one can see my eyes?

I have a questrion regarding the photo also, my fiance and I went to get the photos taken at a place specifically for passport photos, the pictures ended up NOT being 2x2. They insist people use them for photos all the time....Is our package going to be rejected because the photo is not 2 inches wide?

Taken abroad, I can find a place for mine to be taken at 2x2 but for hers we have more of a problem the pictures from her are 1 3/4 tall by 1 3/8 wide, We are in the I-129f process.

Were they taken in the US or abroad? How far off the 2x2 mark are they? And what portion of the process are you talking about? The I-129F or the interview?

Sometimes they take issue with the photo size. One thing that might help is looking around VJ for other Romanian filers who have received their packet 3 from the Embassy there. Our Embassy - London - sent out a list of places that take the right kind of photo. Perhaps your Embassy does that as well.

If you have your own printer, there is always the option of getting photo paper and printing your own photos. My fiance did that for the initial filing part because it was easier than finding a place that did the right size. It took some trial and error to get it to come out the way that USCIS wanted it, but it worked out fine.

if your bangs don't cover your eyes or most of your face you are good to go, I have bangs too and they didn't say anything about my passport pics!!!!
