I won't have my Medical Results for the Interview.

I just got off the phone with Dr Chanas office, the mail came and my results from the Lab weren't there.

They are writing me up a letter that I had my Medical done and they are still awaiting the results.

Is this all I need for the Interview? I know I have to mail my results and passport to Vancouver when I do get them and wait for my Passport to be returned (hopefully with the Visa)

I am a little dissapointed, I did worry about this happening.

Tell them to rush with your results :D . They gonna print you the visa when they get the results, hopefully the delay won't be more than an extra 1 or 2 days.

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

Living in Maryland

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D

07/20/2007 Social Security Card arrived

01/18/2009 PCS-ing to Stuttgart Germany

Feb 2009 Received letter from VSC to start removing conditions.

Getting ready the packet for Removing Conditions I-751

Time wise I'm not too worried, I can overnight it to them. And when they return it, it shouldn't take very long to get here.

I think I am more worried that my results are all ok and there is nothing wrong with me! :)

And a little worried about my Passport going through the mail. That would be a nightmare if that got lost.

Epecially now- here in Canada it can take at least few months to get one.

I got mine in a week when I applied a few years ago.

Can they rush it and give it to you tomorrow if they receive the lab results tomorrow? What time is your flight out?

A letter should suffice for your interview so they know for sure that you did get a medical done. They'll issue the visa when they get the results of the medical sent to them. Shouldn't take too long to do at all. :)

well everyone that goes through MTL gets there passports sent out through the mail now, so that should not be a prob!! Sure it wil al lturn out well

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I just got back from Downtown!!! I got them!!!

I went to phone the Docs office to inquire about if this letter was done- I said" Hi, this is Stacey" she said" yes, it is on Dr Chanas desk ready to be signed and you can pick it up today." I said "Can't you just fax it to me, I have to get ready for work." She said "No, it is a chest X-ray and all the medical results."

I was told by the other receptionist that my results were not in!! She even put me on hold for a few minutes to check. I still have a headache from when she told me that!

But all is well now!! I am going to take some tylenol and leave for for work.

Super news!!!
