Hi! April filer here. We only have 7 people in our group with confirmed interview dates as of yet (in the google sheet). I am hoping more people have one, but just hasn't updated yet, although I think most people in the group check/update the sheet whenever they can. Thanks Angelxx for putting together an excel sheet for the May N-400 filers.

We finished N's biometrics today at Elizabeth NJ. Biometrics was at 8 am, and was a breeze with no wait time at all. Wish we have similar luck with our petition as well! :)

Had biometrics yesterday and estimated case completion time moved up from 9 months to 6 months.

What happens next? Waiting period until interview scheduled? Also, when do we start studying the questions?

Just waiting game now, for interview scheduled notification. That will be very similar to other cases at your field office.

I am not going to start studying until I receive interview scheduled notification. They give 4-5 weeks for actual interview. Plenty of time!

Hi Everyone!

I submitted my application online in May 28.

I got a receipt of the N-400 on the same day.

I got a biometric appointment on June 1.

My biometric was done on June 7.

My status is “As of June 7, 2019, we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization”.

Good luck to all !!

Updated!

So after the biometrics, I assume the next step is the interview with the citizenship exam?  Will we be notified with ample time prior to the interview?

I think most people are notified 2-4 weeks before the interview.

Speaking of the status change after biometrics. My coworker had to wait 2 1/2 month before he was informed of the interview. Between biometrics and and interview date were 4 months. It depends on your location though, San Diego isn't the busiest spot but there's still a big flow of applicants

That seems to be a normal time frame to me. It's been 2 days short of 5 weeks since biometrics for us so 2.5 months isn't that far away.

Gearing up for interviews....anyone putting aside additional documentation? For instance, I'm wondering if I should print out the confirmation for our flights out of the country and back in just after we did the biometrics in case it comes up for them to add to the calculation of time spent in and out of the country. Also, since we have a pending ROC, I'm wondering if I should print out updates of bank records and anything else that comes up in the meantime. I already submitted the IRS tax transcripts I've seen some interviewers ask for at the interview according to others. Not sure what else to bring besides the originals of any official paperwork we submitted (marriage certificate, birth certificate of our son, etc)

Hi all!

Local field office is Agana, Guam

N-400 application submitted online May 31, 2019

Scheduled for Biometrics on June 18, 2019 at 3:00PM. I arrived at 2:30PM on the day of biometrics and finished at 2:45PM it went by pretty fast as I was the only applicant there.

Received a notification that an interview date was schedule on June 22, 2019

Interview date will be on August 8, 2019

According to the USCIS my estimated completion time will be in November (a total of 5 months) but I believe it will be all completed by August upon checking other VJ users from Agana, Guam. Most people got their oath less than 10 days after the interview.

Good luck to everyone!
