I dont see any estimated completion time now.

Earlier estimated completion time was in Feb 2020.

 

Not sure how long I need to wait for.

You do not need to do anything at this time

Probably your file has been transferred from NBC to your field office....I guess you would be scheduled for interview soon....not sure....my thought.

Hi,  I too received the similar type of message over online Dec20th. I am also waiting for almost 8 months.

Did you file at Newark field office? if so, did you get to see any update in the documents tab as to why it got transferred.

I too filed @ Newark field office. I haven't seen any update in the document tab regarding the reson for transfer. Not sure how many days it will take to update. My friend who applied one month before is having reason interview on jan22nd and his case is processing normally with out any transfer.

Hey guys,

After the longest 7 or so months, I finally got my interview notice! I don't ever remember any part of this immigration process feeling this long.. I know that other field offices and cases take much longer so I should be thankful, but it's just been the slowest few months of just waiting and obsessively checking online. Maybe because it's the final step before becoming a citizen or because there's an online case tracker vs just waiting for mail to show up?? .. Anyways was wondering for anyone who has a small business and is a S corporation, do you know if USCIS wants to see corporate taxes as well as individual taxes? I didn't include this in the original application submission because I just didn't think to do it, but now I'm wondering if I should bring it with me to the interview. Anyone have any knowledge/experience with this? Thanks!

Hey guys, Just had an update on my application today

 

interview has been schedule

 

No update letter yet and my field office is San Francisco

Do they take away you GC at the interview for naturalization or is it at the oath ceremony  ?

It's at the oath ceremony. The notice says to bring all permanent resident cards (valid, expired), all reentry permits or refugee travel documents, or any EAD cards.

How long do most people wait to be scheduled for the naturalisation ceremony? I had my interview on 13th December and still waiting to hear back since. I’ve been approved but no letter or update after that.

I think it depends on the office. I had my interview 2 days before yours and I got the date of the oath at the interview. My oath will be tomorrow.

Newark filer as well but I have received nothing indicating a transfer.  Estimated time still says February 2020.

Congratulations. Please let us know once you receive the letter whether you will be having interview at Newark filed office or other office due to Transfer of the application.
