Hi Everyone,

my interview is next week and I just revived parking ticket  in my mail I schedule for hearing should I just pay or any advice,

Thanks in advance.

Pay it - I had a similar situation whereby i was cited for not coming to a full stop before turning -  since I was planning to take it to court I did not pay it. Had my interview and the officer did not approve it and said I had to resolve it and send evidence before I could have my n400 application approved - resolved it and entered evidence within a couple of hours - application was approved two days or so after that.

I had my interview in Boston today. I didn't know in advance if it would be a combo interview, but I prepped for that, brought my husband and a fat stack of evidence, and was ready when the officer asked if my spouse was present. He approved both applications and told me he had to get someone else to sign off on them first, and then I'd be scheduled for an oath ceremony. I'm glad I submitted my N400 application while the I751 was still pending. The whole process ended up taking four years for me, start to finish. I'd rather not think about how much $ it cost...

I had my i751 and N400 combo interview on Nov 27th, N400 was not approved on site, because they have to do my background check for i751 prior. On Nov 28th, my N400 case was updated to "Case was submitted for quality review based on an approval recommendation" on the old website, but on the new website, my N4OO says" we approved your application" dated Nov 27th. As for my i751 which was approved on Nov 29th. Does anyone have similar experience? how long will the "quality review" take before the oath ceremony can be scheduled? thanks!

N-400 Application was denied.

Hi All, my N-400 was filed in 06/2017 (we were still married and lived together)

Interviewed in 09/2017. My spouse and me have attended in interview date.

Withdrawal letter sent to local office in 04/2019 but the officer was not approved the withdrawal letter then He denied.

Denial Notice received on 06/07/2019 (We still lived together, still been married), the notice stated that I was not truthful (lying) in the interviewed date.

then I Re-apply N-400 in 07/2019.

Interviewed in 11/2019. Another officer told me that i passed the test but He could not approve my N-400 because I was not truthful in 09/2017.

After interviewed, He asked me that "do you want to withdraw N-400 now? or I will deny your application''? which one do you like?''

I could not make a decision at that time, and then I just sent to local office my withdrawal letter in 11/2019.

Do you know how long can I re-apply N-400 again?

I am divorced now.

Thank you!

What were you allegedly not “truthful” about in your first N-400 application?  You have not shared that with us.

I had my interview today. Was very easy 😀.  I got approved and he already told me the date for my oath, will be on December 31. Good way to end the year and start a new year as a citizen!

Today is the day of my test and I'm feeling very nervous. Can't wait for it to be over so I have my answer either way.

You should do just fine - it's not that hard as we all (who already passed) thought  it would, really :)

Good luck to you today!!!!!

I know, and I have all my things needed and know all the questions. I have no reason to think I'll be denied so I shouldn't be nervous. Thank you though, I'm excited it's finally here as well!

Well I passed! The IO had visited where I’m from so he was talking to me about that a lot. Definitely helped my nerves. Started off with the 6 questions:

How many amendments to the Constitution?

What did Susan B Anthony do?

What month do we vote for president?

Who is Governor of my state?

What’s the last day to file federal tax returns?

Name two US holidays?

I had to read:

What is the capital of the United States

And write:

Columbus Day is in October.

Then it was a lot of the questions that I filled out in my initial application to verify and reconfirm I was telling the truth. I wanted to drop my middle name so he confirmed my new legal name with me. Then he asked me what promises I would be making when I took the oath and explained a little about that process.
Finally I received the letter from him saying he recommended me for approval and to wait for the date of ceremony.

My boyfriend came and surprised me as I was walking in the door so I did cry my eyes out for a few minutes 😁

But I’m so happy to have that part done with and now just wait for the final step.

The questions he asked me:  1# what do we call the first ten admendments to the constitution? 2# How many amendments does the constitution have? 3#Name one branch or part of the  government? 4#How many US senators are there? 5# What is the name of the speaker of the house now? 6#Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived?

I had to read: what state has the most people?

Write: California has the most people

Then we went over the N400 and some no yes questions. After that he congratulated me and reccomend me for approval and told me when my ceremony date would be and I should get a letter soon in the mail .😊😁🇺🇸🎉  I already got the letter uploaded on my USCIS account.

I got this notification today from USCIS. I had filed N400 at Newark and has been close to 8 months.

Did anyone get this recently?

I dont see any estimated completion time now.

Earlier estimated completion time was in Feb 2020.

Not sure how long I need to wait for.

We transferred your application to another USCIS field office for review

You do not need to do anything at this time
